IQOO Z6 5G Review with Pros and Cons

Cheap Gaming: Benefits and Disadvantages of the IQOO Z6 5G?
IQOO Z6 5G the majority of mobile phone brands now have sub-brands, including IQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo. I don’t have an issue with it, but they can’t all launch the same smartphone. True, the recently released Vivo T1 5G is a sub-brand of the IQOO Z6, and both smartphones are priced similarly.
The IQOO Z6 5G price in India starts at Rs 15,499 for 4GB RAM + 128GB Storage, and it goes up to Rs 16,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage. If you need more Memory, however, there is also an 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage model available for Rs 17,999.
The device is offered on the Amazon India website in the colour selections Dynamo Black and Chromatic Blue.
As this is an iqoo z6 lite 5g device and I have already reviewed the Vivo T1 5G, let’s chat a little and decide whether or not you should spend almost $16,000 on the IQOO Z6 5G.
The IQOO Z6 5G Review
It’s a good idea to have a backup plan just in case.
iqoo z6 lite 5g review the phone lacks an ultra-wide lens, and the image quality is likewise poor. Images are being whitened by IQOO. Simply put, don’t anticipate much from the camera division.
There won’t be any performance issues because the Snapdragon 695 is a strong processor, ensuring good performance.
The phone’s battery will also survive for a day, but even at a price of 15k, the fact that it only allows 18W charging is not a good thing in 2022.
The design is extremely obsolete, and the waterdrop notch is unattractive.
Overall, the iqoo z6 pro 5g is a solid option for gamers only for Rs 15499; don’t anticipate much in the way of camera quality. It is a good idea to have a backup plan in place in case something goes wrong. the backup plan fails (review).

Show Excellence
The IQOO Z6 5G comes with a 6.58-inches FHD+ 120Hz LCD display with a maximum brightness of 460 nits and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Also, it supports Widevine L1, allowing you to view FHD+ content on OTT apps.
Since this is an LCD panel, a fingerprint sensor that is integrated within the display is not possible. For this reason, IQOO put the sensor to the right side of the device.
The fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate; it functions normally as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The display is also sufficiently bright to be used outside.
By the way, the IQOO Z6 5G has an iconic waterdrop notch, which isn’t ideal; IQOO should have gone with a punch hole notch instead, but this is a re-brand of the Vivo T1 5G, so we can’t say much about that.
Overall, I believe IQOO should have chosen an AMOLED panel over an LCD panel; even 60Hz AMOLED would have been a better option.
If you don’t mind an LCD display, this could be a good option; otherwise, check out the recently launched Motorola G71 5G.
Quality
The Snapdragon 695 SoC was featured in the recently released Moto G71 5G and has been added to the IQOO Z6 5G.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC is a potent CPU that can play practically all mobile games without experiencing any issues.
Although a processor’s name can be perplexing, you shouldn’t panic because the Snapdragon 695 SoC is somewhat more powerful than the Snapdragon 750G.
The Fun Touch OS 12 based on Android 11 operating system that powers the IQOO Z6 5G will eventually receive an update to Android 12, but when exactly is unknown.
Moreover, it supports 5G and has two iqoo z6 5g bands, n77 and n78.

Remember that the IQOO Z6 5G only has two 5G bands while the Moto G71 5G has the same SoC and 13 5G bands.
By the way, IQOO can activate more 5G bands, but doing so requires extra payment to Qualcomm for the licence, which I don’t believe they will do. As a result, you’re limited to just having 2 5G bands.
Since the Snapdragon 695 SoC performs better than the Snapdragon 750G SoC, there won’t be any problems when using smartphones for day-to-day tasks or even playing games.
In other words, avoid being misled by the processor’s name.
Don’t stress about speed in general.
Camera
If the answer is yes, then you’ve discovered your new smartphone. IQOO is making an effort to increase the amount of white in photographs.
Because of IQOO’s photography compromises, the smartphone costs Rs 15,999 rather than $20,000 as advertised.
By the way, the front-facing 16MP selfie camera on the IQOO Z6 5G has a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor.
While OIS is not supported, it relies on EIS to capture films at 1080p@30fps on both the front and back cameras.
The video quality isn’t that fantastic, and while IQOO tries to improve the colours, in the process it loses out on details, just like every other low-cost IQOO smartphone.
The majority of Vivo smartphone owners don’t find this to be a major problem, but those who are purchasing a Vivo smartphone for the first time or who wanted the best camera smartphone under $20,000 will be dissatisfied with the IQOO Z6 5G.
Cheap Vivo smartphones feature a front camera as their USP; therefore, with the IQOO Z6 5G, there is no need to use any filters since the image will automatically be produced with beauty mode ON, which means that the image will appear more white.
Although the 50MP primary sensor is fine, it doesn’t capture high-quality images. The dynamic range has various problems. It’s hit or miss; occasionally, a really good image is produced, and other times, an unusable one.
If IQOO doesn’t improve the camera, this smartphone is just a device with a camera and a powerful processor.
Expect nothing because those 2MP+2MP sensors are only being added for numbers’ sake.
The same way you decorate your home to make it look nice, IQOO has done the same with cameras.
Also, IQOO has introduced a tonne of filters to the built-in camera app, allowing you to utilise the filter directly and share the result on social media without using any additional apps.
Overall, the IQOO Z6 5G has below-average cameras and should not be purchased for its photos; instead, it is a good gaming smartphone at a reasonable price.
A battery’s life
A 5,000 mAh battery with 18W capabilities is included with the IQOO Z6 5G. The 18W charger will iqoo z6 lite 5g charger from 0% to 100% in around 110 minutes.
Overall, the processor should let the battery to last all day, but ultimately, how you use your smartphone each day will determine how long it will survive.
However, I would have preferred a 30W charging speed, but IQOO made a cost-saving decision here as well.
Audio Excellence
The single bottom speaker on the IQOO Z6 5G does function, but it is only one speaker and there are no stereo speakers.
A second noise-cancelling microphone is also included. Furthermore, carrier aggregation is supported.
Because it’s a low-cost phone, IQOO included a 3.5mm audio jack.
Generally, the sound quality is good, and the call quality is also satisfactory.
Verdict
The IQOO Z6 5G is a good gaming smartphone, but it cannot be purchased due to the camera, which requires extensive work. Also, if you’re paying Rs 16k, I’d recommend considering the Realme 9 Pro, which is available for Rs 17999. I know you’re paying an extra 2k, but you’re getting a better smartphone overall.
